Correggio Consulting is a privately-owned consulting company located in Brussels. It was founded by Jan Haizmann in 2005 as a limited company established under Belgian law.

Our Story

Correggio Consulting  was founded by Dr. Jan Haizmann who is a German-qualified lawyer with more than 25 years of experience in the energy wholesale and commodity markets. Before setting up Correggio Consulting in 2005, Dr Haizmann worked for several years at Graf Von Westphalen, a large German corporate law firm. He subsequently held various positions in large energy trading houses.

As Senior Partner of Correggio Consulting, Jan advises the top-tier management of his international clients on a range of legal and regulatory aspects of commodity trading and gives contractual and strategic advice. He offers profound expertise in the energy industry, regulatory compliance, contractual support, risk management and business development.  

 

In parallel to his consulting activities, Jan held different executive functions within the European Federation of Energy Traders (EFET) (now called Energy Traders Europe). Admitted to the German Bar in 1994, he also holds a doctorate from the University of Brussels and an LLM from the University of London.
